SEND at Camelford Primary
Here at Camelford Primary School, we pride ourselves on our inclusive school environemnt. It is the school’s aim to ensure that children with SEND are included in all aspects of school life and experience a fully inclusive curriculum.
Our mission is to enable all children with SEND to achieve their best possible outcomes. From early identification, children with SEND will receive high quality first teaching, support strategies, careful monitoring and interventions tailored to their individual needs which will enable them to achieve their full potential.
Our SEND Team
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Karen Stringer.

Mrs Stringer works 4 days a week, 2 days teaching in Year 3/4 and the other 2 days are dedicated to her SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher role. She will always return calls and answer emails at the earliest possible opportunity. If the nature of your email is urgent, please telephone the School Office, 01840 212376.
Area Resource Base (ARB)
Here at Camelford Primary, we have an Area Resource Base (ARB).
Our ARB is led by Mr Ben James.
Admissions to our ARB are dealt with through the Cornwall SEN Admission Team. If you wish to receive more information about the provision and the facilities that our ARB can provide, please contact Mr James on firstname.lastname@example.org.

Pastoral Support Team
Our Pastoral Support Team is made up of Mrs Nayeb, Miss Hardy and Mrs Bosley.
Mrs Stringer and Mrs Nayeb are both licensed Trauma Informed Schools (TIS) Practitioners.
