Super maths learning opportunity ~ NumBots login for every Reception child

Dear Parents and Carers

NumBots is a great online resource to support maths learning, particularly boosting addition and subtraction skills.

Playing this little and often will support and improve your child's recall and understanding of number bonds and addition and subtraction facts.

We ask that your child plays this each day for just 5 minutes, in a quiet space for maximum concentration.

Please don't allow siblings or family to answer for them but do support them if they get stuck.

There are two game types. The Story Mode is designed to focus on learning the ideas and concepts behind addition and subtraction and the Challenge Mode is designed to work on speed of recall of key facts, like number bonds to 10, doubling small numbers or adding and taking away in your head.

Each child has their own login. Please read a copy of the letter which we would have sent to you were we in school. No login details are shown as this is our master. To get your child's login please email us at earlyyears@camelford.cornwall.sch.uk  and we will send it to you by return.

Any queries, please message us through Tapestry, as if you were uploading an observation, or through our email address.

Thank you for all your hardwork at home.

Mrs Finch, Mrs Egleton and Mrs Sandry
